West Brom have lost defender Neil Clement for the rest of the season.

Clement suffered a knee injury in preseason and there were hopes he would see some action this term.

"I think Clem's recovery is on schedule," Baggies boss Tony Mowbray told the club's website. "We're not anticipating seeing him this season.

"The specialist who saw him last week is positive.

"Hopefully his rehabilitation will run smoothly and he'll be doing pre-season with everyone else."
