West Brom keeper Foster admits he faces October return

West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster doesn't expect to be back in action until October.

The 32-year-old is making a good recovery from knee surgery but says he still has to be careful.

Foster said: "We are looking at mid-October, you have to do the six months.

"I knew that from the start so there is no point getting down about it because you know you can't come back any earlier.

"It is progressing. Every week I can start doing a little bit more and I can do more dynamic stuff.

"It is a six month minimum and you can't come back any earlier.

"Just for the fact that they had to drill holes and take tendon away and attach it all in and screw in so it takes time to knit in properly."
