West Brom coach Ben Garner says they must not expect too much too soon from Nacer Chadli.
Chadli arrived from Tottenham last week and provided a promising display in the first hour of The Hawthorns friendly against Delhi Dynamos.
Garner told the Express & Star: “He strikes me as being very confident, but not in an arrogant way, very sure of himself and capable of playing in many different positions, but I don't think it's fair to put too much pressure on him.
“Nacer's got lovely quality, I've worked with him two days this week and his finishes are outstanding on both feet, and he definitely showed glimpses of what he can do.
“He's intelligent, he's technically a very good player and I thought it was a very promising debut from him."
