West Brom have entered the race to sign out-of-favour Liverpool striker Christian Benteke, according to Sky Sports.

The 25-year-old Belgium international has fallen down the Anfield pecking order since Jurgen Klopp's arrival, prompting a number of clubs to show interest in the striker ahead of the new season.

Crystal Palace had a £25m bid for Benteke turned down last month as Liverpool attempt to recoup the £32.5m they paid to Aston Villa in 2015.
