West Brom intent on replacing Stoke target Berahino with…

West Bromwich Albion are determined to land a replacement before offloading want-away striker Saido Berahino.

Reports suggests that the Baggies are pursuing West Ham United's Diafra Sakho as their first-choice summer signing as they prepare to finally lose Berahino, who has been wanting an exit at The Hawthorns for the past couple of seasons.

Stoke City are closing in on a £20million deal for the 22-year-old but Albion will not allow him to leave until a new forward has been added to Tony Pulis' squad.

Senegalese attacker Sakho has handed in a transfer request at West Ham but likewise, the East Londoners want to replace him before allowing him to depart.

It appears there could be a little bit of a striker merry-go-round with some of the Premier League's mid-table clubs as the summer transfer progresses.
