West Bromwich Albion are in talks with Crystal Palace regarding striker Christian Benteke.
The Belgian is seen by manager Sam Allardyce as the man to fire West Brom to safety.
According to Sky Sports, both parties are engaged in talks about the terms of a loan deal that would go to the end of the season.
West Brom are limited financially, and would need Palace to pay some of Benteke's wages to make the deal work.
Both sides are some distance away in negotiations.
