West Bromwich Albion are edging closer in their pursuit of signing QPR star Matt Phillips.

Following the West London club's relegation to the Championship, Phillips has been eyed up by a host of Premier League clubs.

Albion are one of the many clubs interested in securing the services of Phillips and now according to the Birmingham Mail, the Baggies are inching closer to completing the signing of the winger.

The R's are holding out for a fee of around £7million for Phillips and a deal with West Brom could come to fruition in the coming weeks.
