West Bromwich Albion are chasing Hoffenheim striker Joselu.
The Express & Star says Hawthorns officials have lodged their interest in Joselu as they line up a list of potential forwards to put to their new head coach, who they hope to appoint in the next fortnight.
Joselu, who was born in Germany to Spanish parents, scored 12 times in 26 appearances on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt last season but the club could struggle to afford Hoffenheim's asking price for a permanent deal.
That could make the 6ft 3in tall 24-year-old, who was previously with Real Madrid, available to other clubs.
