West Bromwich Albion are keeping tabs on Birmingham City midfielder Demarai Gray, with a view to signing the 19-year-old during the January transfer window.
The Daily Mail is reporting West Brom boss Tony Pulis was at Villa Park to watch Gray in action against Aston Villa in the League Cup last Tuesday and was impressed with what he saw from the winger.
Gray is understood to have a £4.7million release clause in his current contract with Birmingham.
Leicester City and Bournemouth both attempted to sign Gray during the summer transfer window, but neither club were able to complete a deal.
