West Bromwich Albion are furious Sunderland have escaped punishment over the Ji Dong-won controversy.
The Daily Mail says they are demanding to know how relegation rivals Sunderland escaped a points deduction for playing an ineligible player in four Premier League matches.
Albion chairman Jeremy Peace, whose club start today four points above the Black Cats but having played a game more, wants answers before deciding whether to make an official protest.
Hull City boss Steve Bruce, himself a former Sunderland manager, said: "It's pretty bizarre that it's only surfaced now and he's played in four games. They should be in serious trouble."
