West Brom are focusing on a deal for Huddersfield striker Karlan Grant.

The Mirror says West Brom have stepped up their bid to land Karlan Grant from Huddersfield.

The Baggies have been chasing the former Charlton hitman all summer but have been unable to reach an agreement with his club.

They are now hoping to structure a deal that will see them take Grant on loan with an obligation to buy him for £16million next summer.

Grant is keen to move to The Hawthorns and the Premier League, and West Brom boss Slaven Bilic is hopeful he will get his man.
