West Brom have failed with an approach for Benfica striker Haris Seferovic.

O Jogo says the Baggies expressed interest in the Switzerland international as they were negotiating the end of Filip Krovinovic's loan ahead of his switch to Nottingham Forest.

WBA were keen to use their loan opening to take Seferovic off Benfica's hands.

However, the response from Benfica president Luis Felipe Vieira was negative.

Vieira has insisted Seferovic will only leave for an outright sale - at a starting price of €15m.
