West Bromwich Albion have made an inquiry regarding Mason Holgate from Everton.

The Baggies are hoping to add the right sided defender on another loan deal.

He spent the second half of last season at the Hawthorns, with the club hoping they can extend that deal by a further six or twelve months.

The 22-year-old is not likely to be a part of Everton boss Marco Silva's first team plans for next season.

The Daily Mail says the Toffees will decide whether they are happy with another loan spell for Holgate, or whether they want to cash in on him this summer.

Holgate has played six times for the England under-21 side, but was not a part of their European Championships squad this summer.
