West Brom defender Barnett wants Norwich stay

West Bromwich Albion defender Leon Barnett is set to make his loan move to Norwich City permanent in the January transfer window.

Barnett, 24, who cost Albion £2.5m from Luton Town in 2008, does not figure in the plans of the club's manager Roberto Di Matteo.

"I like being on loan but hopefully we can make it permanent," said Barnett who spent most of last season on-loan at Coventry City.
