West Bromwich Albion are chasing Aston Villa fullback Alan Hutton.
The Birmingham Mail says the Baggies are expected to seek further talks with Villa this week over the 29-year-old Scotland international Hutton.
There have been suggestions Paul Lambert was keen to hold onto the right-back and willing to re-integrate him back into the first-team squad having consigned him to Villa's bomb squad previously.
Albion are keen on Hutton, but only if the price is right - the Baggies are mindful he only has 12 months left on a four-year deal worth in the region of £35,000-a-week.
