West Bromwich Albion aim to complete the signing of Chris Baird this week.
The Birmingham Mail says Albion are to make their third summer signing in the coming days - with Baird in advanced talks over a potential move.
The experienced ex-Fulham right-back, who played seven games for Burnley last season, is due for a medical with a view to signing on a Bosman free transfer.
The 32-year-old has been a long-standing Albion target and close to joining in the past.
Albion players return for pre-season training today.
