West Brom are chasing Huddersfield Town defender Michael Hefele.

The Daily Mail says Hefele has emerged as a potential target for West Brom.

The 27-year-old German centre-back is on a shortlist drawn up by Darren Moore as he prepares to lose Craig Dawson.

Albion are bracing themselves for renewed bids from Burnley and West Ham for Dawson, who is valued at £20million.

Hefele, a popular character at Huddersfield, is available for around £2.5m.
