West Brom chasing Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson

Promoted West Brom are chasing Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.

The Daily Star says West Brom are ready to join the race to land Wilson.

The newly-promoted Baggies are desperate to get in a front man with proven Premier League experience and the 28-year-old is set to leave the Cherries following their relegation on the last day of the season.

Tottenham have been linked with a £15m move for the England international but the south coast club are believed to be ready to hold out for nearer £20m.

Bournemouth are in a position to hold out with a number of other top flight clubs showing an interest.

Newcastle and West Ham are also keen and though Spurs would be the glamorous option, Wilson knows he might be seen as back-up for Harry Kane and get limited game time.
