Promotion winners West Brom have captured defender Pablo Ibanez on a free transfer from Atletico Madrid.

The 28-year old Spaniard has signed with the Baggies who have bounced back to the top flight following their second placing in the Championship last season.

Ibanez was with Atletico from 2004 until signing with West Brom following a stint with Albacete. He has also represented Spain just over 20 times.
