West Brom boss Tony Pulis expects talks with the club's new owners this week.
For defeat to Bournemouth, Pulis blamed the problems on the pitch to the struggles in the window.
"The Chinese are coming in next week so the club is being taken over next week," he said. "We'll see what vision and what they want to do.
"The only way you see yourself moving forward is by improving the squad.
"You've seen today that we need to bring other players in and we've not been able to do that for all sorts of reasons. But we needed to.
"The players we've got I'm absolutely delighted with them and they worked really hard, especially second half.
"We've closed the door now so we'll get everybody on board and together."
