West Brom boss Tony Mowbray was delighted with super-sub Juan Carlos Menseguez's goal scoring performance in their 3-0 thumping of Sunderland.
Mowbray told the Baggies website: "Menseguez scored a great goal.
"He's a player who has taken time to adapt to the English game. He came from the top division in Argentina where he scored plenty of goals.
"He asked me if he could go and play against Chelsea reserves this week, which is great credit to him.
"He scored two goals and deserved a chance in the team today. When it came he went on and scored a great goal. He looked good.
"Juan's got great feet and is very hard to get off the ball.
"He can give teams problems and is a very talented individual.
"It was always a question of whether he'd adapt in time to the physicality and speed of the Premier League - but he has the quality."
