West Brom boss Mowbray delighted with Kiely

West Brom boss Tony Mowbray was full of praise for man-of-the-match Dean Kiely after their 3-1 win over Wigan.

Mowbray paid tribute to both Kiely, who came in for Scott Carson after he injured a finger in training, and Wigan's Richard Kingson - who replaced former Baggies goalkeeper Chris Kirkland after just nine minutes.

"I think both 'keepers were pretty good. At 38 Dean has a lot of professionalism and is very positive in our dressing room," he said.

"He is a lad who has been there and done it so when Scott damaged his finger on Thursday there was no panic or over-anxiety that Dean would come in and do the job."
