West Bromwich Albion boss Roberto di Matteo is delighted with the impact made by summer signing Nicky Shorey.
The former Aston Villa left-back has helped the Baggies pick up seven points from a possible nine.
"He's come in and taken his chance," Di Matteo told the WBA website.
"He's performed at a high level and has done very well for the club so far.
"He looks composed. We knew that. He's had years of experience in the Premier League."
