West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke isn't ready to write off defender Goran Popov.

Clarke insists the Macedonian could earn a permanent move when his loan from Dynamo Kiev ends.

The Baggies chief said: "What Goran did was out of character. But he held his hands up straight away, said he'd made a mistake.

"Every day his attitude is good. But there's an end product that won't be finalised until the summer. He must keep impressing."
