West Brom are closing on a permanent deal for West Ham United winger Grady Diangana.
The Express & Star says the Baggies have reached an agreement with West Ham on an initial price of £12million for the 22-year-old, who played a key role in helping them win promotion from the Championship last season while on loan from the Hammers.
But it is understood the deal includes significant add-ons which, if met, would take the final fee beyond the £17m Albion eventually paid for Nacer Chadli.
Even then the transfer would still represent a huge coup for the Baggies, who were told Diangana would cost them a minimum of £20m earlier in the summer.
Boss Slaven Bilic had been eager to bring the England under-21 international back to The Hawthorns after he scored six goals and produced eight assists.
