West Brom will again consider manager Alan Pardew's position after defeat to Watford.
The Daily Mail says owner Guochuan Lai and chief executive Mark Jenkins are poised to discuss options as West Brom slipped to eight points from safety with nine games left.
Pardew is facing the sack but the West Brom board are weighing up whether a long-term successor can be recruited now as planning for the Championship takes shape. The club's hierarchy will also consider if a caretaker coach might suffice.
After the defeat, Pardew said: "I've got no message for the board. It's not anything to do with that. I'm employed to be the manager of the football club, I try and put out a team that I think has got a chance of delivering the win. It's a tough business, we're playing tough teams. Every team's going to make it very difficult, as Leicester will next week."
