RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner is prepared to miss out on the Champions League quarter finals to get his dream Chelsea move.
Werner is set for a move to Stamford Bridge when the transfer window opens.
But the Daily Express is claiming he may even move at the end of June when the Bundesliga concludes.
The source claims the 24-year-old wants to finish off those games with Leipzig, but skip the Champions League latter stages, which will happen in August.
It would be a huge blow to Leipzig, who are yet to find out their quarter final opponents.
They bested Tottenham in the last 16 to reach this stage of the competition, and Werner is one of their key players.
But the Germany international is concerned about getting a big injury before the move.
