Werner casts doubt on Chelsea future; explains agent change: I have to look at big picture

Timo Werner has cast doubt on his future at Chelsea.

At today's Germany presser, Werner spoke openly about his lack of minutes this season at Chelsea.

“Of course I can't be satisfied if I don't play. Of course, I want to be a regular player in a big team," he said.

“But I'm not saying that I really want to leave if I don't play ten or 15 games before Christmas. Things happen relatively quickly in football. I have to look at the bigger picture to make my decision."

Interestingly, Werner has recently signed with agent Volker Struth.

He continued: “I didn't choose Volker because he has a few players and the coach in (Bayern) Munich. I repositioned myself with him to get a new perspective on my career. This should not be interpreted as a hint for or against Bavaria. It just worked out well between us.

"It wasn't about which club might be interesting for me in the future. It was simply about the interpersonal basis."
