Werder Bremen winger Tahith Chong says Manchester United teammate Juan Mata is in regular touch.

Chong is on-loan at Werder from United on-loan for the season.

He praised the influence of Mata on his early career development and revealed he is still in touch with the Spaniard on a regular basis.

“Juan Mata was amazing on and off the pitch," he added.

“I can highlight many positively. Everyone helped me a lot. I am still in contact with them, and they often ask me how I am.

“(I respond that) everything is fine for me and that I want to develop myself further in Bremen."
