Werder Bremen are aiming to sign Manchester United winger Tahith Chong today.
Werder and United have been in talks for weeks over a loan arrangement for the Holland U21 international.
BILD says Werder have found a breakthrough and there's a confidence of a deal being signed off today.
United had initially insisted that Werder take over Chong's gross salary of 2.8 million euros. That was not possible for Bremen - and now United are willing to pay part of the salary itself.
Chong will arrive as a replacement for Milot Rashica, who is in advanced talks with RB Leipzig.
