Werder Bremen and Fenerbahce have joined the race for Racing Santander centre-forward Nikola Zigic.

Aware that Racing are in talks with Manchester City about selling Zigic, both Werder and Fener have made contact with the Spanish Liga club in the last 48 hours.

City have offered £12 million, while Racing are holding out for &poiund;15 million.
