Wenger unconvinced by Man Utd's young players

Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger isn't convinced by Manchester United's young players.

Wenger doesn't believe United will develop a crop of youngsters as successfully as Sir Alex Ferguson did in the mid-90s.

“When you see Man United, there is potential there," Wenger told beinSports. “They have not found the collective way, maybe because all of these players are not mature enough to carry the team play of a team like Man United all together. And that's a question mark now.

“You feel something coming out but it's not ready, that's why I say when you watch them play they are not candidates to fight for the championship.

“Will they emulate what Giggs, Scholes, Beckham did over the years? Personally, I'm not convinced."
