Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits the atmosphere at the Emirates yesterday surprised him.

Wenger has long complained about the lack of support his players have received at home, but after victory over Tottenham, the Frenchman admitted the fans were first-class.

"I threw my jacket down because I was frustrated, I couldn't communicate with the players because of the noise of the stadium - I am not used to that!" Wenger said.
