Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has praised Liverpool's transfer market work.

Wenger believes it was a fine piece of business from Jurgen Klopp to manage to bring Mohamed Salah to Anfield.

“I believe that Mohamed Salah is a fantastic player," the legendary Arsenal boss said on beIN SPORTS. "He's blossomed at Liverpool, he was already very good in Roma.

“You know we speak about many clubs being on the market, to sniff players like that, Liverpool did very well, you have to give them credit for that.

“For me he's a sensational player.

“He had a little dip after the World Cup and in the last few weeks now he has come back to his best.

“He's one of the best players in the world."
