Wenger: Ajax keeper Onana made difference at Spurs

Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana deserves praise after their Champions League win at Tottenham.

Ajax take a 1-0 lead to Amsterdam for the second-leg of their semifinal.

"I want to compliment the keeper in particular: he understood that his team had a hard time with high balls from the side and dared to go far in front of his goal. And Daley Blind was outstanding," said Wenger.

The Frenchman also praised matchwinner Donny van de Beek.

"He only needed two touches to score and paralyze Hugo Lloris," added Wenger.
