Furious Manchester United fans vented their frustration at on loan striker Wout Weghorst on social media.

The Red Devils are reeling after a 7-0 loss to Liverpool in the Premier League.

Despite being third in the league and having won the Carabao Cup a week ago, United fans were furious at how their team capitulated.

A video circulated on social media showing Weghorst touching the “This is Anfield" sign at Liverpool's stadium as the players walk into the ground from their dressing rooms.

One particularly furious supporter wrote: 'I don't care about his carabao cup pics anymore. He has to leave the club at the end of his 6 months. THIS VIDEO is enough to let him go. How the hell can you touch the Anfield sign as a MAN UNITED player?'

A second agreed, stating: 'Terminate his contract.'
