Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson feels his side deserved more than a 3-1 loss against Chelsea at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday.
The Foxes were in the lead at the half-time owing to Marc Albrighton's debut goal for the club, but an impressive second-half display from the Blues saw them clinch the fixture 3-1 with the help of goals from Didier Drogba, John Terry and Ramires.
Of the result, Pearson told Foxes Player: "I don't think our players deserved to get beaten 3-1 tonight.
"I'm not saying that Chelsea didn't deserve to win, but our players gave a very good account of themselves tonight. It's unfortunate, but we move on."
