Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho admits his side were not good enough against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Blues drew 2-2 with ten-man PSG in the second leg of their Round of 16 Champions League encounter to be dumped from the competition on away goals after it ended 3-3 on aggregate.
PSG were reduced to ten men when Zlatan Ibrahimovic was sent off in the 31st minute but Chelsea were unable to make the most of the extra personnel, conceding on two occasions after hitting the lead.
"We didn't deserve to go through," Mourinho said after headed goals from David Luiz and Tiago Silva sealed his side's fate.
"When a team cannot defend two corners and concedes two goals, a team doesn't deserve to win.
"The individual performances were not good enough and when you concede two goals from two corners it's about lack of concentration, lack of responsibility to cope with the markers and the space you have to control.
"When a team cannot cope with the pressure of being one player more and playing at home... we couldn't cope with that pressure.
"We deserved to be punished with this draw, defeat."
