The former Three Lions captain believes the Tottenham Hotspur youngster can be one of his country's key players at Euro2016 in France but has urged the 20-year-old, and the rest of England's up and comers, to simply enjoy being involved in their first major tournament.
"I like Dele Alli because he plays with no fear," said Beckham.
"He is a young and confident player who is not afraid to show how good he is on the field.
"Every fan, every England fan, every Tottenham fan, wants to see him step onto the field and do well at Euro 2016."
Regarding the mindset of a young player going into the Euros, Manchester United great Beckham added: "Go out there and enjoy it, because these occasions don't come around that often.
"When you have a chance to play for your country and a chance to play in a big competition, you have got to enjoy the moment and just go out for the win."
