Watmore scores penalty double to give Moyes first Sunderland win

Sunderland manager David Moyes got off to a winning start with his new club on Monday.

Forward Duncan Watmore scored two first-half penalties to help the Black Cats to a 2-0 friendly win over French side Stade Nyonnais.

The result made it three wins out of three pre-season friendlies for the Wearsiders.

The Black Cats will continue their pre-season tour in France with a friendly against Dijon FCO on Wednesday.
