Watford winger Gerard Deulofeu admits he found expectations at Barcelona difficult to deal with.
Deulofeu was picked for future stardom at Barca as a 15 year-old, though never established himself with the Blaugrana.
He told Bein Sport: "When you are young in Barcelona there are many eyes, there are many people who think that you will be the next Iniesta, the next Messi ... a soccer star.
"And that is difficult because for young players what they have to do is work every day calmly, without pressure. You must learn and work, but some people talk a lot and create a very difficult dream to fulfill.
“I am proud to have trained at Barcelona because I learned a lot from their academy, but everyone knows that my time in the first team was not the best. It was my goal and I didn't achieve it."
