Watford winger Gerard Deulofeu is backing former club Barcelona to defeat Manchester United in their Champions League quarterfinal.
Deulofeu says Lionel Messi will give Barca the edge.
He told ESPN: "Barça are the favourites because they have a better team and have the best player in the world who is Messi. But in the Champions League we've already seen that anything can happen and they need to be careful against Manchester United because they've improved a lot."
"It looks like things in the dressing room weren't going well. Now that's changed and they've working better as a team. They've got great players and are a dangerous team," insisted Deulofeu.
And whilst United have improved and could cause Barça problems, Deulofeu believes his former side are favourites due to playing the second leg at the Camp Nou: "It could give Barça the edge."
