Watford will host Real Sociedad for the Graham Taylor Trophy on August 5 at Vicarage Road.
La Real finished sixth in La Liga last season, ensuring them qualification to this year's Europa League group stage.
The trophy had originally been scheduled for the previous week, against Aston Villa, but issues with relaying the Vicarage Road pitch meant that friendly was forced to be switched to Villa Park.
