Watford have registered their interest in Middlesbrough winger Marcus Tavernier.

Per the Daily Mail, the Hornets are considering a move for the England Under-20s star.

Tavernier struggled to gain a regular place at Boro under Tony Pulis in the past season, but it is unclear how his future would change under a new manager.

He played 27 games in all competitions, scoring four goals.

It appears that Tavenier could be a replacement for Gerard Deulofeu, who is wanted by Napoli and AC Milan.
