Watford are set to step up their plans for Rennes attacker Ismaili Sarr.

After finishing on the losing end of the final of the African Cup of Nations against Algeria, the Senegal winger is ready to leave Rennes for England.

Sarr is eager to see the move happen and has made this clear to Rennes.

Watford will now step up negotiations, says Le 10 Sport, with the aim of settling on a fee of €30-35m.

Rennes are prepared to sell, as Watford's offer would represent a record for the club.
