Watford captain Troy Deeney wanted by Newcastle United, according to reports from the Watford Observer.

Deeney is certainly a popular figure among the Watford fans but he has not been able to feature consistently this season due to numerous disciplinary issues.

As a result, manager Marco Silva is said to be open to offloading the volatile Deeney and according to reports, the Magpies are plotting a move for the 29-year-old.
