Watford striker Cucho could return against Chelsea

Wolves attacker Cucho Hernandez has returned to training ahead of their final game of the season.

The Colombian has not been available since April due to a hamstring injury.

However, he could be back for a final game with the club in the Premier League, with the Hornets relegated to the Championship.

"He and I think he probably is ready to play," said manager Roy Hodgson to reporters.

"But the doctors who have obviously been very concerned about him, because it was a serious injury, they are a little bit more cautious.

"I've persuaded them at least to allow him and I to have the luxury of being together on the bench. And I'm pretty certain if things are going a certain way, I'm going to be looking at his direction and if he looks back and gives me the nod, it's going to be hard not to put him on because he was doing so well before he got injured.

"The good thing is that hopefully he'll get through whatever period of time he plays. He's fit now. He'll have a break and it means right from the start next season, you've got one guy who's good, who's fit. And he's really, really up for playing.

"I'm just glad to see him back before the end of the season."
