Watford not concerned about striker Ighalo

Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores is not anxious about losing Odion Ighalo in the winter.

The Nigerian striker has been the early-season star for the Hornets having scored five of his side's six goals in their opening eight Premier League outings.

Ighalo was a big-money target for clubs in China during the summer window and could again feature on some radars in January but Flores is calm regarding the in-form 26-year-old.

"I'm not scared about Ighalo," said Flores ahead of Saturday's clash with Arsenal.

"I'm happy with him and not thinking about what might happen in the winter market. He had the chance to go out in the summer but decided to stay here and that was an amazing decision.

"When a player plays well the value changes to buy him. But we now think Ighalo is our most important player, he is very happy and can play in different positions."
