Watford News: Gracia talks Deulofeu stay; Doucoure convinced Premier League improving him

Watford boss Javi Gracia won't rule out a permanent deal for on-loan Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu.

Gracia is just pleased with his player's displays and attitude.

"Gerard, for his part, adapted quickly and the next day he played in Stoke. I have high hopes placed in him and I hope that he will serve us and serve him to achieve our goals," he told El Mundo Deportivo.

"We will see. Now is the time to try to give everything so that's he's comfortable and can develop as a player and get good results.

"I am very happy with his presence here from the first day. The most interesting thing for everyone is these eleven games and doing things well. Let's see what's decided and what can be done."

Meanwhile, Abdoulaye Doucoure says Premier League demands are making him a better player.

"The success on the field, but also the fact of playing in the Premier League and having different observers of your game," Doucoure says, when asked what has changed.

"It changes the situation. With my style of play, my physical abilities, it is surely the league that suits me best.

"The intensity in the game did not surprise me, with the matches being played at 200mph."
