Watford winger Andre Carrillo denies Everton rumours for manager Marco Silva are cause for their form slump.
Everton have since moved on to appoint Sam Allardyce, but Watford are still struggling after their thrashing by Huddersfield.
Carrillo has worked with Silva before at Sporting Lisbon and knows him better than most, but he said there has been change in their head coach.
"No, I have to be honest, we haven't noticed any difference," he said when the prospect was put to him.
"When he was linked we still worked for the manager, almost even stronger than before."
Meanwhile, Real Valladolid are interested in Watford striker Isaac Success.
The Hertfordshire Mercury says Success is in talks with Spanish second division side Real Valladolid, according to reports in Spain.
The former club record signing is yet to play in the Premier League this season, having missed two months of action with a knee problem.
Valladolid are a club with plenty of links to Watford currently, with five players on loan in their B side and Sulayman Marreh, a Gambian midfielder, playing for their first team.
